The artworks presented at EISODE reflect the following principles:
◇ GENERATIVE → The artwork is based on one or more generative processes articulated live – algorithmic, procedural, systematic, kinetic, biological, interactive, performative [...] – so that its form is non-linear and not precisely repeatable. So each visit gives rise to a different experience.
◇ SPACETIME → The artwork offers an experience that takes advantage of the specific presentation parameters of EISODE: the extended duration of visits, the absence of social and artistic contamination and the autonomy of the public.
◇ EXPERIENTIAL → The artwork consciously positions itself within the course of the public. Initiatives aimed at involving the public before, during and/or after their visit are encouraged.
◇ CONTEXTUAL → The spirit of the place is included into the experience of the artwork. Artistic interventions aimed at appropriating the context – terrace, roof, garden, sound and light environment [...] – are encouraged.
◇ INSTALLATION → The artwork is based on a transversal disciplinary approach where the use of different components – sound, visual, conceptual, performative [...] – responds to the issues of contemporary creation.
